COURSE REGISTRATION: GNSS Navigation

This course will give you a good background to GNSS theory and operational procedures for GNSS Approaches.
 
 
The course consists of two parts. The first covers the background and theory of Satellite Navigation.
 
The second part is an introductory guide to GNSS Approaches using specific GNSS navigation systems.
  • The Boeing 737 NG Smiths Flight Management System,
  • The Bendix KLN 92 GPS Unit, or
  • The Rockwell Collins ProLine 21/FMS 3000 System.
Prior to conducting GNSS Approaches pilots must complete a flight test and obtain an endorsement in their Log Book.
